How to Get There
As the gateway to Isan, Khorat is incredibly well-connected.
By Bus or Train: This is the most popular way to travel. Numerous buses and trains depart from Bangkok daily for the 3-4 hour journey to Khorat city.
By Car: Driving is a great option as it gives you the freedom to explore the province's spread-out attractions.
Important Tip: Khao Yai National Park and Phimai Historical Park are in completely different directions from the city. To see them both, it’s best to rent a car or hire a private driver for a day or two.
